The Hard Knox Advantage Plan.
For $14.99 a month, you get a comprehensive whole-home plumbing inspection with water heater flush included, 10% off every repair, priority scheduling, and no after-hours dispatch fee when something goes wrong at 2am.
Billed monthly, no long-term contract, cancel anytime. Most members come out ahead the first year.
Why It Exists
Plumbing emergencies are almost never sudden.
They're just unnoticed. A water heater that's twelve years old, a shutoff valve weeping behind a cabinet, incoming pressure running eighty-five PSI, a supply line that's gone stiff and chalky — none of those announce themselves. They fail at the worst possible moment, and then you're paying for water damage on top of a plumber.
The Advantage Plan is the alternative: one visit a year where a licensed technician walks the house, tests what should be tested, flushes the water heater, and tells you plainly what's aging. Small things get fixed while they're small. Big things get planned instead of ambushing you.
The rest of it — priority scheduling, a waived after-hours fee, a 10% repair discount — is just the practical reason it pays for itself. Most members come out ahead in year one on the inspection and one repair alone.
Have a tankless water heater? The included annual descale is a service most manufacturers require to keep the warranty valid — one visit alone is normally worth more than a year of membership.
Membership Benefits
Everything included, in plain language.
No tiers, no upsell ladder, no fine print worth hiding. One membership, six benefits.
Comprehensive whole-home inspection
A licensed technician checks water heater condition, shutoff valves, supply lines, visible piping, drains, fixtures, and incoming water pressure — normally a $199 service, included every year.
Water heater flush & anode check
Tank units get a sediment flush and anode rod check. Tankless units get a professional descale — the annual service hard water makes essential and most manufacturer warranties require. Included in the inspection, not billed separately.
Priority scheduling
Members go to the front of the queue — same-day or next-day appointments even when the schedule is full.
10% off every repair
A standing 10% discount on repairs and installations all year, on top of our normal flat-rate pricing.
No after-hours dispatch fee
When something breaks at 2am, members skip the $199 after-hours dispatch fee entirely. That waiver alone is often worth a year’s membership.
Seasonal pipe-prep reminders
A heads-up each winter and summer on the small steps that prevent frozen or overworked pipes — plus the same friendly, 5-star techs each visit.
$14.99/mo
Billed monthly · No long-term contract · Cancel anytime
That’s about $180 a year — less than the inspection alone normally costs, before the repair discount or the after-hours waiver.

*Reflects a single after-hours call in the year — Hard Knox Plumbing’s standard $199 after-hours dispatch fee, fully waived for Advantage Plan members. Even members who never call after hours still come out ahead on the inspection alone.
Even if nothing breaks
Members still get the full $199 inspection with flush for $180 — a $19 head start every year before any repair discount or after-hours waiver kicks in.
Over three years
Same usage three years running puts you at $729 in cumulative savings versus paying à la carte — and that doesn’t count repairs the inspection catches early.

Common Questions
Advantage Plan questions, answered.
What does the Hard Knox Advantage Plan cost?
It's $14.99 a month, billed monthly with no long-term contract — cancel anytime. That works out to about $180 a year, and most members recover it the first time we visit.
What's actually included?
A comprehensive whole-home plumbing inspection with water heater flush and anode-rod check included, 10% off every repair and installation, priority scheduling ahead of non-members, no after-hours dispatch fee, seasonal pipe-prep reminders each winter and summer, and the same friendly, 5-star techs each visit.
Is the annual inspection actually useful?
It's the whole point. Most plumbing disasters give warning: a weeping shutoff valve, a water heater past its life, a supply line that's gone brittle, pressure running too high, a slow drain that signals a line problem. Finding those on a scheduled visit is dramatically cheaper than finding them at 11pm on a Saturday — and the inspection alone is normally a $199 service.
Does membership include emergency service?
Emergency service is available to everyone, 24/7 — members and non-members alike. What membership gets you is priority scheduling and a waived after-hours dispatch fee, which normally runs $199 per call.
Does the water heater flush apply to tankless units?
Yes — for tankless units the included service is a professional flush and descale, which is exactly what East Tennessee's hard water makes necessary and what most manufacturer warranties require annually. For tank units it's a sediment flush plus an anode rod check.
I rarely have plumbing problems — is this still worth it?
That's actually the best time to join. The inspection catches small issues before they become $1,500 repairs, and the annual flush extends water heater life by years — most members come out ahead in year one on the inspection alone.
Can I cancel?
Yes. It's billed monthly with no long-term contract, and you can cancel anytime.
Do the discounts apply to big jobs too?
The 10% member discount applies to repairs and installations. For large replacements — water heaters, line replacements, filtration systems — we quote our best price regardless, and financing is available. Ask when you call and we'll be specific about your job.
